Walleye mount. 2004 NWA prize winner. Woods used are yellow birch, black walnut, sumac, black cherry, yellowheart, wenge, spalted maple, canarywood, red oak and western red cedar. Finish is satin polyurethane. The fish is a real walleye. |
"Fox in Snow" 2005 NWA prize winner. Forty-seven individually cut and shaped pieces of black cherry, padauk, holly, red oak, wenge and yellowheart form the intarsia figure. The frame is padauk and yellowheart. |

| "night Sentry" 2000 NWA prize winner. This piece is composed of 42 pieces of white pine, spruce, black cherry, black walnut, padauk, wenge and yellow birch in a wild night sky and full moon composed of 14 pieces of glass |
"Serenity" 2003 NWA prizewinner - This interpretation of Mt Fuji was inspired by a stained glass window. It is layered intarsia and stained glass, composed of 103 pieces of red oak, black cherry, western red cedar, spruce, Peruvian walnut, black walnut, canary, butternut and sumac. The sumac came from a dead sumac tree in the artist’s back yard. It took approximately 5 hours to design the pattern and 40 hours to complete the woodwork and glass work.
